Objective of the Role
The Director of Marketing & Branding will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance brand presence, drive consumer engagement, and maximize market impact. This leadership role will focus on go-to-market execution, influencer marketing, and brand storytelling , ensuring the company remains a dominant force in the industry. The role requires a dynamic and strategic leader who can blend creativity with data-driven decision-making to drive brand growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in brand marketing within the sporting goods, outdoor, watersports, or action sports industry . They possess extensive experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, working with influencers and brand ambassadors, and leading go-to-market strategies for premium consumer products. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of brand positioning, and excels at leveraging digital and offline channels to drive engagement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute brand strategy , ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message across all touchpoints.
  • Lead go-to-market planning , managing launch timelines, cross-functional collaboration, and execution excellence.
  • Oversee influencer and ambassador marketing programs , building strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
  • Direct the creation of engaging brand content and storytelling , driving awareness and consumer loyalty.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns , integrating digital, social, retail, and experiential activations.
  • Optimize marketing efforts by analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and making data-driven adjustments.
  • Manage external agency relationships to ensure brand consistency and execution quality.
  • Oversee marketing budget allocation, ensuring maximum ROI and efficiency in campaign execution.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within the sporting goods, outdoor, or watersports industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, brand campaigns, and influencer partnerships .
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners .
  • Expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and omnichannel brand positioning .
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable marketing strategies .
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess campaign performance and optimize marketing initiatives .
