As a Government Account Executive, you will oversee growing presence in the Government market, owning the contract renewal strategy, delivering class-leading customer experiences, and growing revenue and retention rates. Job Responsibilities:
- New Sales activities: Generate new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio of existing and target accounts. Exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals in the various assigned categories while maintaining appropriate customer churn goals. Negotiate agreements and lead the contract negotiations as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of in-person customer meetings to build deep client relationships.
- Sell the total portfolio of the company's solutions. Engage in deep conversations with clients to understand how the company's services can solve client pain points and build win-win scenarios.
- Coordinate with Account Management, Care, and other support members of the team to ensure a strong customer life cycle and to maximize the revenue and loyalty of the customer base.
- Use internal systems effectively to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
- Engage in customer presentations and attend events to promote the brand and engage with clients. Lead account strategy to improve results.
- Engage with internal stakeholders as required to achieve goals, including operations, marketing, legal, compliance, pricing, and others.
- Participate in continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches. Use available tools to deliver outstanding service and meet productivity and quality standards.
- Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics. Meet or exceed all departmental goals and business objectives.
- Demonstrate positive and collaborative behavior with customers and coworkers. Uphold high standards for ethical and professional conduct.
- Disburse adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits and criteria.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
- 4+ years of proven experience in outside direct sales within an assigned territory.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the Public Sector (Preferred).
- 2+ years in telecom or technology sales (Preferred).
- 2+ years of Account Management and strategic selling (Preferred).
- Strong presentation skills.

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
