Overview:nWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our design team. This role will primarily focus on leading the structural design of residential and commercial projects and coordinating closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely project delivery within budget. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about contributing to a variety of construction projects, enhancing design capabilities, and developing long-lasting professional relationships.nKey Responsibilities:nnTake the lead on structural design projects, managing and coordinating with internal and external clients to meet objectives.nPerform all phases of design, from conceptual planning to final design, for residential and commercial projects.nPrepare calculations, details, and specifications for structural elements, particularly in commercial applications.nDraft project plans using AutoCAD and assist with project documentation.nSupport construction processes by responding to requests for information (RFIs), reviewing submittals, conducting job site visits, and performing design reviews.nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align structural requirements with broader project goals.nCommunicate updates and project requirements to superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with project owners and stakeholders, supporting project continuity and progression.nnRequirements:nnEducation: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Structural Engineering.nExperience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in structural engineering, specifically within wood and masonry structures.nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Microsoft Office Suite, and Risa 3D.nKnowledge: Foundational understanding of structural elements including steel, wood, masonry structures, metal plate-connected wood trusses, and both shallow/spread and deep foundations.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnCertification: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 1-2 years of relevant experience.nSoftware: Proficiency in Revit is highly advantageous.nRegulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Florida Building Codes, local design standards, and concrete construction up to three stories.nnCompany Culture & Benefits:nnCompany Structure: As a full-service A&E firm, we specialize in architecture and structural engineering, providing comprehensive solutions to clients.nGrowth & Learning: We value initiative, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the field.nBenefits Package:nn401K with company matchnPerformance-based bonus programnPaid vacation and sick leavenMedical, dental, and vision coveragenLife insurancenESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) – employee-owned companynnLocation: Orlando, FLnEmployment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)ÂnSalary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience and EIT status)nShift and Hours: Monday- Friday 8 AM- 5PMnIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.Â
