Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Missouri City, TX 77459
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm
Pay Range: Local- $20 to $23/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)

Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Prepare patients for exams by taking medical histories and explaining procedures
- Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens like blood or urine
- Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network).
- Basic computer literacy required, Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required, good communication and customer service skills required..
