You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of engineers and operations staff to optimize automation systems, lead controls-related projects, and troubleshoot issues that impact efficiency and uptime. What You’ll Do:
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Design, maintain, and improve electrical control systems for machinery and automation equipment
- Support integration of new equipment and upgrades of existing systems
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering to improve uptime and throughput
- Interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Assist with HMI development and system interfaces
- Help manage control system documentation and change management
- Troubleshoot sensors, drives, motors, and I/O systems on the floor
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with PLC programming and automation systems
- Familiarity with controls hardware, electrical systems, and safety circuits
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting
- Bonus: experience with robotics, HMI development, or motion control
