You will play a critical role in the design and analysis of a wide range of structural systems, including steel, concrete, curtain wall, and metal framing.nAbout the Role:nnDesign & Analysis: You will be responsible for reviewing designs, conducting load analysis calculations using software such as STAAD and RISA, and evaluating design calculations for stress and deflection.nProject Collaboration: You will work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Architects to resolve complex design issues and ensure the successful execution of projects.nTechnical Expertise: You will review shop drawings, compare them to contract drawings for accuracy, and work with our in-house shop to address any design challenges.nInnovation & Development: You will contribute to the development and testing of new design solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs.nMentorship: You will mentor and guide junior engineers (EITs) on staff, fostering their professional development.nnWho You Are:nnHighly Qualified: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.nExperienced Professional: You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in structural design, with a strong background in steel, concrete, curtain wall, or metal framing.nTechnically Proficient: You are proficient in STAAD and RISA software, and have experience with AutoCAD.nA Strong Communicator: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.nA Problem-Solver: You are a highly analytical and problem-solving individual with the ability to effectively address design challenges.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure.nKnowledge of current ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, Aluminum Design Manual, and International Building Code (IBC).nExperience with canopy systems.nnAdditional Info:nnTerm: This is a temp to perm opportunity where you will be converted after 6 months.nPay Rate: $38.00 - $48.00 depending on prior experiencennReady to Join Our Team?nIf you are a talented and motivated Structural Engineer with a passion for innovative design and a desire to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects, please apply and reach out to Brian Ray at or call 470-415-8255.
