Team Overview
Marketing Science is focused primarily on Marketing Mix Modelling and Multi-touch attribution. Marketing Science teams manage data processing (primarily in SQL, R scripting, and Excel), data exploration and the statistical analysis of media data. Marketing Science team members handle client's requests, work closely with internal cross-agency teams to support their needs, collect data from clients, clean and organize that data, and create statistical models, and build presentations highlighting key results, recommendations, and takeaways.
Position Overview
The Senior Director of Marketing Science is responsible for Annalect's Marketing Science team. You will lead the insights and analytics practice for your designated client team. You will work closely with our agency partners to shape the strategic direction through data driven insights, audience/advanced analytics and performance driven measurement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with agency account leadership to provide input into and ensure continual use of approved methodologies, frameworks, and capabilities
  • Provide global data and analytic leadership and drive consistency across all of the marketing sciences resources
  • Guide and approve creation of output templates for behavioral audience insights, audience segmentation, and predictive modeling
  • Align methodology for budget allocation and scenario planning
  • Provide guidance on core measurement components, optimization and testing templates
  • Review key optimization recommendations across markets/regions on the on-going basis
  • Facilitate on-going communication between marketing science resources across markets and regions (knowledge sharing, consistency, innovation)
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • 15+ years of overall relevant experience
  • 5+ years of senior level experience at an integrated agency, marketing analytics or a consulting firm preferred
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience and deep knowledge of audience clustering/segmentation/profiling, audience predictive modeling, marketing mix modeling/econometric analysis, budget allocation/scenario planning, and market research techniques (e.g. custom survey research, advertising testing)
  • Knowledge and experience with syndicated research sources/tools (e.g. ComScore, Nielsen, GfK MRI, Simmons, etc), marketing technology (e.g. Data Management Platforms), ad-serving (e.g. Google DCM, Atlas), web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), data sources (web click-stream, TV STB, 3P compilers online and offline, location providers, purchase co-ops/loyalty cards/credit and debit cards)
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Social Sciences or business/marketing related fields
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS) is preferred

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$133,000-$190,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
