Can you please confirm the 3 main responsibilities/day to day activities required for this role?
    1. Providing overall leadership for medical device design and process change programs (released product space)
i. Planning - Developing work breakdowns, schedules, budgets, resource demands for new projects
ii. Execution - Monitor and control progress vs plan, manage risks appropriately
iii. Stakeholder Communication and Resource Management - Ensuring alignment between teams, executives, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Clearly communicate program progress, challenges, and decisions to all relevant parties.
What products (if any) will this role support?
    1. The full portfolio of Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health Products (implantable stimulators, leads, implantable drug pumps, ablation systems, etc)
What is your target years of experience?
    1. 10+ years total experience in a technical field, preferably at least 3 of project/program management
    2. this role is not a strong match for individuals with only IT PM experience.

Seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead released product projects focused in the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health operating units. Projects may include both design and manufacturing-focused changes, including: manufacturing site transfers / capacity expansion, MDR compliance, product design enhancements, and management of supplier-requested process changes.
The individual for this role should have capability and confidence to lead cross-functional teams which may include but is not limited to: mechanical/electrical design, software, quality/reliability, verification/validation, human factors, systems engineering, process development, supplier quality, sourcing, and regulatory affairs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading programs of a similar nature within a highly regulated field, medical device preferred.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of medical device products or software systems.
Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.
Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT CAREER STREAM: Program Managers and Directors focus on tactical, operational activities for a major program with broad or ongoing impact. Levels within the program management career stream typically accomplish program objectives through matrixed employee teams and / or vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead. Communication and Influence: Communicates and leads meetings with internal and external customers and vendors, conducts briefings to higher level management team.

Leadership and Talent Management: Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team of managers, experienced professionals and/or vendors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Establishes daily tasks necessary for successful program execution.
Not directly responsible for hire or fire decisions and people management.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires broad management knowledge and experience to lead project teams in one department.
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
