What You'll Do
- Ensure product quality and compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP, and FAA requirements
- Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Analyze data to identify trends and implement quality improvement strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering to drive process control and efficiency
- Oversee inspection processes and create/maintain quality standards, quality plans, and procedures
- Monitor KPIs such as scrap, rework, and customer complaints, and lead initiatives to reduce COPQ
- Manage and lead internal and external audits
- Represent Quality in customer discussions, MRB activities, and supplier quality reviews
- Support APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction activities
- Train and mentor teams on quality tools, processes, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role, preferably in aerospace or a regulated industry
- Experience with welding, brazing, heat treat, or special process environments
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Hands-on experience leading CAPA, MRB, and root cause investigations
- Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
