Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of high-power RF products, including amplifiers, LNAs, switches, limiters, and control components
- Drive product development across a broad frequency range (1 MHz to 18+ GHz)
- Conduct detailed analysis, modeling, and simulation of RF circuits and systems
- Oversee the prototyping, fabrication, and integration of RF modules and multifunction assemblies
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and validation of high-power RF hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering
- Ensure product compliance with performance, reliability, and regulatory standards
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior RF engineers
The Successful Applicant
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 9+ years of RF/microwave design experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong background in RF/microwave circuit design, including schematic generation and PCB layout
- Hands-on experience testing, tuning, and modifying RF circuits to meet performance specs
- Proficient with RF CAD tools and circuit simulation software
- Skilled in using RF test equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters
- Experience designing high-power RF control components using both surface-mount and bare die technologies
- Familiarity with design tools such as ADS, HFSS, AutoCAD, and PADS
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance testing (MIL-STD-461)
- Exposure to circuits operating up to 40 GHz
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
