nKanEquip-Garden City has an immediate opening for a Service Writer to assist the Service Manager with administrative duties and repair orders for agriculture and construction equipment.

- Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership. n
- Expertise with computer system, including MS office and internet-based applications. n
- Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends. n
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle status- current driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicle *Ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed. n
You will contribute to our team by: (Duties and Responsibilities)

- Coordinating with the Service Manager to assign jobs to technicians in the service department according to their skill and knowledge. n
- Assisting in supervision of technicians and ensuring excellent customer experience. n
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service work and billing. n
- Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with the service team, other dealership staff and venders. n
- Completing forms for service operations and warranty in a timely and accurate manner. n
- Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members. n
- Managing service trucking and sales logistics. n
- Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership. n
