Our busy practice is growing and we are looking for an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team!

nCompensation & Schedule:
nPay Range: $18 - $22 per hour (negotiable based on experience, skills, and credentials).
nSchedule: Full-time or part time opportunities. Hospital is open weekdays 8am to 6pm with shifts starting as early as 7:30am. Occasional Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00pm required.
nKey Responsibilities:
nAs the face of VCA Cedar Animal Hospital, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
n• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
n• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
n• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
n• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
n• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
n• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
n• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
n• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
