nBOH Team Lead Job Overview:
nWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Back-of-House Team Lead to lead our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in casual dining and hospitality, with a focus on delivering exceptional food quality and service. As the BOH Team Lead, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and foster a positive work environment for our staff.
nDuties:
nManage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
nTrain, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
nAbility to assist in menu planning and modification, ensuring consistency and quality.
nOversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen activities.
nCoordinate catering services for special events and banquets as needed.
nConduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new kitchen staff.
nCollaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery.
nMust be flexible and able to work both front-of-house and back-of-house positions as needed.
nExperience
nProven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the casual dining sector.
nStrong leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
nKnowledge of catering operations and banquet service is highly desirable.
nFamiliarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
nAbility to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
nExperience in cooking techniques and menu development is preferred.
