Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Lead Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. This is an in-office position, five days a week.In this client-facing and project-driven role, the Lead Account Coordinator will play a critical part in managing and executing large-scale and complex commercial furniture projects. Acting as a liaison between sales, vendors, project managers, and clients, this individual will lead account coordination efforts from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding customer service throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Coordination
- Lead day-to-day coordination of key client accounts, ensuring all project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, product orders, and installation timelines.
- Prepare detailed quotes and order packages; ensure pricing accuracy, manufacturer specs, and terms.
- Track all orders through confirmation, acknowledgment, production, shipping, and delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior account coordinators when needed.
- Manage vendor communication for order confirmations, acknowledgments, deposits, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Create and maintain detailed order status reports and dashboards for clients and internal teams.
- Ensure vendor compliance with order specifications and escalate issues when necessary.
- Operations & Installation Support
- Generate installation requests and coordinate with internal operations teams to align labor needs (union/non-union, standard/overtime).
- Prepare and organize installation packages and documentation; maintain punch list records and proactively resolve post-installation issues.
- Support final delivery logistics, manage freight claims, and follow through on open issues.
- Set up new customers and vendors in internal systems.
- Generate client-specific reports including product mix, project summaries, and COIs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Project Management teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Maintain client relationships beyond installation to support Day 2 orders and ongoing needs.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales coordination, project coordination, or account management (preferably in furniture, design, or a related industry).
- Proven experience managing multiple projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to guide junior team members and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with order management or ERP systems a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
