Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Specialist in California. This is a full-time position providing therapy and behavioral health support in a clinical, team-based setting.
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to serving medically complex and aging patients. The Behavioral Health Specialist will oversee a caseload of patients, provide therapeutic interventions, and contribute to care planning and behavioral health coordination within a clinic-based model.
Position Details: Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist Location: California (on-site or hybrid depending on clinic) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Employment Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities:
Conduct behavioral health assessments to identify the mental health needs, preferences, and goals of clinic patients Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop patient-specific behavioral health goals and care plans Deliver and document behavioral health services including symptom management, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and resource coordination Provide psychotherapy services using modalities appropriate to the patient population (e.g., counseling, psychosocial interventions, expressive therapies) Collaborate with medical and social work teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care Provide staff education and support related to behavioral health needs and best practices Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work or Doctorate in Psychology Active California license as an LCSW or Licensed Psychologist At least five (5) years of experience conducting therapy, behavioral health assessments, and managing care planning needs Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with older adults or medically complex patients Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills Benefits:
