About the Role Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Annapolis, located at 2480 Solomon's Island Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401, is seeking a results-oriented leader. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership experience, a proven track record in driving performance and sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a positive culture. Prior experience in the spa industry or membership-driven sales is a plus. Our goal is to deliver a world-class experience to our members and guests, with our General Managers playing a key role in ensuring exceptional service, team coaching, sales growth, and business development.
Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service, including managing appointments, greeting clients, and promoting memberships
Oversee daily spa operations
Drive sales performance
Recruit, hire, and develop spa professionals
Coach and monitor team performance
Educate and sell memberships, setting and achieving sales goals
Promote products and services enthusiastically
Coordinate with the service team to maximize appointment bookings
Engage in grassroots marketing and community connections
Handle administrative duties such as reporting, P&L analysis, payroll, cash handling, inventory management
Role Requirements
Passion for communication and customer engagement
Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to travel for training and meetings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fast learner with a positive attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Computer proficiency; experience with retail or appointment booking systems is a plus
Strong team player capable of working independently
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability
Critical thinking and customer conflict resolution skills
