About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Data Activation to spearhead the development, optimization, and monetization of integrations between its data platform and third-party marketing and advertising platforms. This strategic role is pivotal in connecting the digital advertising and marketing technology sectors, with a focus on demand-side and social platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction for these integrations, ensuring they align with client needs, and driving the product lifecycle from design to launch. A key aspect of the role is to educate and equip internal, agency, and brand teams on the effective use of these platforms to achieve data-driven marketing goals. The VP will also be instrumental in influencing business and marketing strategies, and must have a proven track record in product leadership, with a strong emphasis on innovation and a customer-first approach. Candidates for the VP of Data Activation role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a product role focused on data-driven advertising, with a background in MarTech products being a bonus. The role requires a deep understanding of the digital advertising industry, the role of data in marketing and advertising strategies, and familiarity with prominent companies in the ad tech space. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful individual with strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and excellent communication abilities. They must be adept at leading product transformation, managing cross-functional teams, and have a proven ability to influence business and marketing strategies. A BA/BS degree is required, with an advanced degree or MBA being desirable.
