Overview:
Were seeking an experienced
Hydronic Piping / Mechanical Superintendent
to oversee field operations on commercial HVAC projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a superintendent with a strong background in
chilled water, hot water, and condenser water systems
someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and takes pride in leading crews and delivering quality mechanical work. You'll be joining a reputable mechanical contractor with a long-standing presence in Texas, known for delivering complex HVAC and plumbing systems for
K-12 schools, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, and large multi-use commercial facilities .
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise installation of
hydronic piping systems
on commercial construction sites
Coordinate daily field operations with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors
Ensure projects meet code, design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
Track productivity, materials, labor hours, and overall job progress
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, submittals, and project documents
Lead by example with strong communication, safety, and problem-solving skills
Support startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
Qualifications:
5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in commercial HVAC piping (chilled water, hot water, condenser water)
Deep understanding of hydronic systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment
Strong knowledge of commercial construction schedules, safety, and documentation
Ability to manage field teams, coordinate with GCs, and maintain project timelines
Familiarity with mechanical drawings and specifications
OSHA 30 certification
