Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in driving our supply chain strategy, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehousing and logistics functions, and ultimately contributing to the company's overall success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain policies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain processes.

Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to distribution and delivery. Implement best practices in supply chain management, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and supplier performance management. Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased efficiency.

Warehousing and Logistics: Oversee the warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and transportation of products. Implement and maintain robust warehousing systems and processes to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and improve accuracy. Manage relationships with logistics partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.

Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring reliable supply of raw materials and components. Monitor supplier performance and compliance with quality and sustainability standards. Implement supplier risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the performance of supply chain, warehousing, and logistics operations. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in supply chain management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the food manufacturing industry. Proven track record of successfully optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams. Knowledge of relevant software and technologies, including ERP systems and supply chain management tools. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to food manufacturing and supply chain management. What We Offer:
