The MuleSoft Developer candidate is a thought leader in the technical integration work using MuleSoft. This individual has proven results in contributing to customer and/or partner success. Has experience in front and backend solution architecture, development and release management strategies, change management, and hands-on leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed business needs. He/she has the ability to manage client expectations and negotiate solutions to complex scenarios with multiple groups. Proactive thinking and problem solving, foresight of risk areas, and context - appropriate communication is a critical capability for success in this highly visible and leveraged role.

Responsibilities: • Evaluation of business and technical requirements. • Establishing and enforcing technical best practices. • ctively participate in the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications • Work closely with Architects and SME's to design and implement MuleSoft solutions • Debug, troubleshoot and resolve MuleSoft application issues • Handle customer escalations and provide timely resolution • Perform performance tuning of MuleSoft applications • Prepare technical documentation for MuleSoft applications • Be part of Sprint ceremonies, and aid in overall efficiency improvement. • Identification and pro-active management of risk areas. • Commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution. • Mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical resources and partner colleagues. • Building relationships with business partners, internal and external • Contributing to growth of Optum's Professional Services team.

Required Skills/Experience: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field • 2+ years of experience in Java development • 5+ year of experience in MuleSoft development • Strong experience in SOA, REST and web services • Experience in Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Management and CloudHub • Good understanding of SOA and integration patterns • Experience with both on-premise and CloudHub projects and API developments. • Knowledge in setting up CI/CD automation using Jenkins/Git Actions and Branching model design • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using connectors, SOAP/REST API using different integration patterns. • rchitectural experience within Salesforce. • Consultative mindset and actions. • Operated in an Agile/Scrum environment supporting Customer facing Product. • Very proficient in object-oriented design and using design patterns • Proactive in identifying and resolving tech debt • Strong Communication skills

Desired Skills/Experience: • Healthcare / Call Center knowledgeable beneficial • Experience in MuleSoft and Salesforce Service Cloud features Preferred • Experience in UI Automation tools (ex: Selinium, Saucelabs, AccelQetc)
