Independently plan and provide professional nursing characteristics, policies, and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN. Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers. Assist nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care and act as team lead based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs. Knowledge, skills, and development of other staff and formal learners. Participate in the identification of clinical or operational performance improvement opportunities and in performance improvement activities. Perform other related duties. Knowledge of professional theory, practice and procedure. Work Performed
Plan, provide, supervise, and organize. Working knowledge of procedures and techniques to navigate the entity. Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking. Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, other health care professionals, and special treatments to patients. Ability to independently seek out resources and work collaborating care for patients in accordance with physician order. Minimum Qualifications

BSN required, MSN preferred. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Completion of a RNFA program that includes didactic and supervised clinical practice, is based on AORN's core curriculum for the RNFA. Experience
3 years of experience in Perioperative Nursing is required. Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required. Successful completion of the CNOR and RNFA certification exam required.
