Project Manager required for Affordable Housing development in San Jose, CA

Our client is an established and highly respected mid-size General Contractor with a strong track record in complex multifamily developments who are seeking a Project Manager to join their team for a major affordable housing project in San Jose. This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-impact, high-visibility build serving the region's most vulnerable seniors.
Your new role
As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of construction of a five-story, 100+ unit affordable housing development currently in progress. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule and budget, ensuring site safety, and upholding quality standards in collaboration with a top-tier architectural team.
What you'll need to succeed 5-10 years of experience managing multifamily or Type III podium construction projects Proven ability to lead field teams and subcontractor coordination Strong communication skills and adept at working with architects, owners, and city officials Experience with affordable housing developments and public agency-funded projects is a plus What you'll get in return
This build represents more than concrete and steel-it's a cornerstone of community transformation. The site will serve low-income and previously unhoused seniors with on-site supportive services, blending dignity, design, and long-term impact. Completion of this project will follow on with a pipeline of similar projects in the South Bay. Compensation & benefits include
