Licensed Practical Nurse, PRN

to join our team at the Facility Based Crisis Center in Jacksonville, NC. As an integral part of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work alongside a team of professionals, all committed to transforming the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substance use.

PRN Shifts available within the hours of:

Days: 7 am - 7 pm

Rotation A ( Week 1 : Wednesday, Thursday;

Week 2:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Evening: 7 pm - 7 am

Rotation A ( Week 1 : Wednesday, Thursday;

Week 2:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

What You'll Do

The primary purpose of the LPN is to provide patients with services including screening, medication/prescription management, assisting the treatment team, treatment after-care, and referral services. This position will provide medication and medical assistance to mental health and substance abuse clients as well as offer guidance to Medical Assistant at the Facility Based Crisis Center / Detox center. This position will work in collaboration with other clinical professionals to facilitate positive outcomes for our clients. The LPN maintains accurate and up to date medical documentation and client medication logs in addition to assisting other staff members in maintaining a therapeutic and healthy clinical environment for all clients during their short-term stay at the center.

with alternating weekends.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an empathetic and patient-focused individual to provide care in the facility-based detox center. Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and assign priorities, and a valid, unrestricted, state-appropriate driver's license are essential.

We also require the following:

An active, unrestricted nursing license to practice in North Carolina (LPN) A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record Prior mental health experience preferred but not required
