Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Keene, NH Shifts & Pay: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Pay: $20-$23/hour 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM | Pay: $21-$26/hour Job Type Contract-to-Hire Position Job Summary: Adecco Staffing is currently hiring CNC Machinists for full-time, contract-to-hire roles in the Optical Fabrication Department of a leading manufacturer in the Keene, NH area. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to manufacture high-precision optical components. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC diamond turning, grinding, or polishing machines to support production schedules Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions in compliance with standard procedures and lean manufacturing practices Perform precision measurements on optical components using metrology equipment Manually clean optical surfaces using approved solvents and wipes Collect, analyze, and report production data, requiring basic math and statistical understanding Follow all safety protocols, including the use of safety glasses and latex gloves Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of machining experience in a production environment Proficient in setting up and running CNC manufacturing equipment Ability to use basic computer systems for data entry and review of documentation Skilled in measuring high-precision components using various metrology tools Ability to read, speak, and understand English for written documentation and instructions Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Must be able to lift or move objects up to 40 lbs May involve exposure to chemicals and solvents Requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves Position involves standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks If you are interested in this position or others available, please apply with an updated resume or call our Office at (603) 598-0117 Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
