Welder | Independent Truck Upfitters | West Palm Beach, FLRegular Employee |Hourly Non-Exempt | $20.00 - 26.00What you’ll do:Responsible for welding and reworking products using MIG/TIG techniques per specifications and blueprints.Perform MIG/TIG welding (AWS 3G/4G) on steel, stainless, and aluminum per blueprints and weld symbolsSet up and maintain welding equipment; follow detailed operator instructions and quality standardsInspect work and prior processes to ensure quality and production flowCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvementMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; support 5S and lean initiativesWhat you need to be successful:High School Diploma or GED; excellent attendance and positive attitudeAbility to read and interpret blueprints and weld specificationsPass a welding certification test; prior welding experience/certifications preferredSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to rotate across weld areas, wear PPE, work overtime, and pursue skill developmentWhy The Shyft Group?Our people are our greatest asset, and your success is our success!
