As a Tool & Die Specialist, you will support die-set maintenance and tooling changes for production in the 4680 Cell Can Stamping Department. The ideal candidates will possess excellent craftsmanship, the ability to troubleshoot, and a commitment to safety and production goals.Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and tooling changes for production die-setsSupport the design and implementation of tooling changes to accommodate part modificationsMaintain and manage die-set preventative maintenance (PM) system, including scheduling and updating work instructionsTroubleshoot defects and support the preparation of die check sheets and trial proceduresMaintain die-set spare parts lists, ensuring parts are stocked and readily availableDevelop and implement systems to reduce defects, improve productivity, and minimize downtimeCollaborate on Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify risks and create control plans for production dies Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience.
