We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer with a solid background in metal stamping and robotic welding. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of responding effectively to customer concerns and internal quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

    n
  • n

    Conduct initial analysis of non-conformities to provide immediate support to customers and propose corrective actions or temporary solutions that prevent production delays.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Report and document non-conformities to ensure timely resolution in alignment with customer expectations.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Perform technical visits to customer locations to maintain strong relationships and address quality concerns efficiently.

    n
  • n
  • n

    When authorized, recover or sort non-conforming parts directly at the customer site to avoid returns.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Generate detailed reports on customer complaints and actively participate in identifying and implementing effective solutions.

  • n
  • n

    Comply with internal policies and quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Uphold legal, ethical, and procedural standards when interacting with suppliers, external agencies, and partners.

  • n

Required Skills and Knowledge:

    n
  • n

    Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Email.

  • n
  • n

    Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

  • n
  • n

    Familiar with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and VDA 6 standards.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Working knowledge of customer-specific quality requirements.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Proficient in English (written and verbal).

    n
  • n

      APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

      MSA (Measurement System Analysis)

      FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

      VSM (Value Stream Mapping)

      ERP systems experience

      n

      Knowledge of critical incident response processes and customer-specific standards

Education & Qualifications:

n
    n
  • n

    Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.

    n
  • n
n

Experience:

n
    n
  • n

    At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years in the automotive industry .

    n
  • n
  • n

    Prior Quality Engineer experience is a plus.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Experience working in organizations with a strong safety culture is an asset.

    n
  • n
