Job Description We’re recruiting for a

Senior Client Director

to join our market-leading DC team. You will be responsible for managing, retaining, and developing a book of DC pension clients, including some of the largest and most complex clients for Legal & G. This senior role requires the ability to work independently to build and develop strategic partnerships. What you'll be doing: Establishing and developing strong relationships with key decision-makers across your strategic client portfolio, understanding their tactical and strategic goals to meet all client objectives. Ensuring long-term partnerships for L&G with these organizations and supporting DC targets and ambitions. Taking ownership of retention strategies for strategic clients identified as ‘at risk’, working with the DC senior team to retain and strengthen these relationships for the long term. Proactively identifying and progressing new business, restructuring, and cross-selling opportunities to maximize sales, market share, and client retention. Participating in setting and delivering growth targets across important portfolios, supporting the development of other team members. Supporting and attending new business opportunities at critical tender, beauty parade, and site visit stages. Collaborating with DC Sales to expand relationships with key UK DC intermediary consultants. Leading engagement with other areas (Product, Client Communications, Change, Operations) to ensure clients have access to appropriate products and services, balancing this with other business needs. Taking ownership of product and proposition development as needed. Ensuring compliance with consumer duty by providing clients with sufficient information for informed decisions.

Qualifications Who we’re looking for: Experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace. Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager, or intermediary. Understanding of investments and ability to articulate fund performance. Knowledge of administrative and operational aspects of DC pension plans. Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing meetings and presentations. Professional qualifications such as PMI, Certificate in Financial Planning, IMC are desirable. Ability to listen to client issues, understand challenges, and leverage L&G DC to address them.
