The F135 Sustainment Supply Chain Management (SCM) team delivers materiel and services to support the F135-powered global fleet of Joint Strike Fighters (JSFs). Team day-to-day work-scope provides material support for flight and maintenance operations occurring at main operating bases, deployed operating locations, and at maintenance, repair, overhaul, & upgrade facilities located in the US and abroad. The Associate Director for F135 Sustainment Logistics and ASP/DSP leads the F135 Sustainment team in the coordinated delivery of 24/7 materiel and logistics services for front-line F-35/F135-powered fighter squadrons operating globally. The successful candidate will be a skilled leader, excel at collaborative integration, and communication, able to work well under pressure. What You Will Do
Establish internal procedures to optimize global distribution and sourcing of spare materiel, as well as support development and validation of material and labor estimates for contractual proposals Manage team compliance with Pratt & Whitney and F-35 Program operating instructions and drive practical application of the Customer Oriented Results & Excellence operating system Lead cross-functional initiatives to assess process efficiency and drive improved performance Manage and report out to military and industry partners on Key Performance Indicators Engage with military and industry partners to develop resilient customer support solutions in a fast-paced global workspace Collaborate in cross-functional development of long-term strategic objectives and goals Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree 12 years of supply chain or logistics management experience, or an advanced degree with 10 years of the same experience At least 7 years of deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer
Military program experience for customs, courtesy, and operational expectations and excellent working knowledge of military supply chain and logistics operations F-35 Program and/or F135 Sustainment experience Excellent personal leadership, organizational and relationship-building skills Self-motivated; be proactive and take initiative to complete projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills, can develop and deliver clear, concise and logically written business communications effectively to key stakeholders and demanding audiences
