Quality Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Lead for the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am. The role involves reviewing and approving records to ensure compliance with established standards. This position requires a proactive individual to identify deviations and initiate corrective actions, including conducting root cause analyses. Responsibilities

Identify deviations and initiate Non-Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations. Coordinate completion of CAPA investigations including root cause analyses. Manage disposition of raw materials and products as Hold, Release, or Quarantine. Conduct basic food safety, cGMP, and quality-related training for new hires. Assist with the development of SOPs related to manufacturing processes. Provide support during audits by regulatory and third parties. Conduct and coordinate environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program. Collect raw materials for testing and sample finished products. Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies. Work with production personnel to correct processes if the product is out of compliance. Convey test results to the appropriate personnel and follow up if needed. Complete audits based on the production schedule. Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing. Promote and follow GMPs for the facility. Essential Skills

3 plus years of Food or GMP Manufacturing Quality experience Degree in the sciences is preferred SQF, HACCP, GFSI, or PCQI training/experience is a plus Work Environment

The position is based in a food manufacturing plant with a balanced 50/50 split between lab and floor work. Initial training will be provided for a period of 3-6 months. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
