A Day in the Life:Reporting directly to the Director of Promotional Claims, you'll oversee the month and quarter-end close processes related to customer promotional plans. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting Leadership, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accruals. The Impact You'll Make:Responsible for month-end and quarter-end closing cycle related to Promotional Allowances accrual, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, internal controls, & GAAP rules. Review of monthly GL schedules & related financial postings. Participate in internal & external audit.Oversee Promotional Claims accrual staff and day-to-day operations. Provide leadership support to overall department, including goal-setting, semi-annual evaluations, and mentoring. Develop & implement process efficiencies. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales/RGM, as needed.Support to Director-Promotional Claims & Controller-North America by providing insights on fluctuations within the Promotional Allowances accrual &/or expense, developing &/or delivering various analytical reports, and participating in ad-hoc assignments or projects, as needed.Who You Are:Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field ofAccounting, Math, or other related field of studyAdditional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in accountingAdditional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in management, supervisory roleComputer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft - Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint, Clickup, Teams, PowerBI a plusPreferred Certifications: N/AAdditional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: N/AMonster Energy provides a competitive total compensation; this position has an annual estimated salary of $82,500 - $110,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
