Our client in Chantilly, VA is looking for a motivated, self-starter with a strong attention to detail to join their team! Compensation: $25.00/hr Location: Chantilly, VASchedule: Mon - Fri, 7a - 330p Hybrid schedule (3in/2home) Quality Control Clerk Responsibilities:Monitor and respond to email for incoming bid requests. Maintain Bid filing system.Review and set up incoming request to see if job is already in been requested.Review job for any NDA requirements.Download and label necessary files.Performs other similar or related clerical duties as necessary.Pulls and organizes product data documents.Marks up and organizes electronic files for specifiers' final approval.Cross-references job documents with electronic files.Identifies and questions any discrepancies between provided files and job requirements.Manages the approval process with specifiers.Handles Adobe comments from specifiers and sends them to the customer.Determines if items are approved for shipment or if further information is needed.Documents any outstanding information required from the customer.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.Quality Control Clerk Requirements:Must speak and have proficient writing skills in English.Must be proficient in Windows XP or Windows 7, MS Office, Word, Excel, and MS Outlook/Calendar.Experience with Adobe.Experience with knowledge of scheduling concepts and techniques.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to define and communicate processes effectively.Strong communications and interpersonal skills are a must.A self-starter, requiring little or no supervision. Dependable team player, detail-oriented, accurate, organized and flexible, handle multiple tasks, often working under deadlines.Exhibits good judgment, determination, and perseverance during difficult processes.
