Title: Technician II
Requirements: 2-4 years related experience Education: Associate degree in automation technology, robotics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (BS degree preferred)
Shift timings:
1st shift (6am-2:15PM) Responsibilities: Maintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial and commercial settings Provide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and escalate unresolved issues to management and engineering teams Perform automation system maintenance according to schedule and TPM documentation Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality as specified in TPM Diagnose automation control systems using diagrams, schematics, manuals, and manufacturer documentation Troubleshoot non-functioning components including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, pneumatic devices, and other technology Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems and production equipment as needed Perform automation programming tasks and other services related to production equipment upkeep Record data regarding root cause analysis, corrective actions, parts replacement, and maintenance to maximize functionality Assist engineering teams with process evaluations and improvements Maintain effective communication with production, quality, engineering, and management personnel Follow safety instructions and work procedures to ensure satisfactory EHS performance Assist operators with machine configurations, fixture setups, and adjustments Utilize technical knowledge to perform tests and analyze hardware problems Apply knowledge of electronics, mechanics, computers, and automated systems
