Reporting to the Medical Affairs Senior Director, the key responsibilities of this role will be to design and execute on clinical evidence planning, scientific dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and publication strategy. The role will focus on Electrophysiology within Rhythm Management Medical Affairs in EMEA. Articulate and execute a Medical Affairs strategy to support business priorities and scientific reputation with clear KPIs and effectiveness measurements. Evidence planning Work cross functionally with Global Clinical, EMEA, HEMA, Marketing, and others to identify Evidence needs in EMEA Ensure Evidence needs are integrated into EMEA Evidence plans Evaluate external clinical research proposals and collaborate with Clinical and Scientific Affairs, HEMA, and EMEA marketing groups to advise on how these research proposals fit into an overall clinical strategy Serve on the RM Corporate ISR Committee to ensure EMEA evidence strategies are being considered during the evaluation of Corporate ISR applications KOL Strategy Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in respective therapeutic areas to establish a strong scientific presence in the practicing and academic communities Engage with identified HCPs and KOLs to exchange clinical information, discuss BSC strategy and corporate initiatives and explore clinical areas of need Support physicians in delivering educational programs and scientific presentations Advisory Boards & Stakeholder Engagement Lead planning, execution, and follow-up for Advisory Boards including agenda setting, stakeholder mapping, and insight capture. Data dissemination Develop data dissemination plans internally and externally according to data release and strategic business priorities Channel identification (webinars, symposia, etc.) Audience segmentation Content customization Format optimization leveraging F2F and digital opportunities Ensure data are scientifically accurate and relevant Work with customers to identify and evaluate podium presentation and publication opportunities and ensure clinical and strategic relevance. Ensure speaker readiness through training and consistent messaging. Summarize and disseminate congress findings and key data across internal audiences. Clinical expertise Demonstrate a deep understanding of clinical science supporting our products in Electrophysiology & gather/develop data intelligence in our product space. Support internal educational efforts as a therapy and scientific expert to the commercial organization. Strongly collaborate with EMEA Marketing, HEMA, & Medical Education, as well as Global Clinical & Scientific Affairs, and EMEA Medical Affairs to ensure alignment and buy in Act as liaison between the commercial and scientific teams. Be the face of EMEA at the Global Clinical level within the division. Ensure the integrity of all scientific activities. Prerequisites and competencies: We are looking for a candidate with strong scientific acumen, excellent presentation and communication skills, and collaborative approach. Significant experience in the medical device industry with previous experience in developing medical affairs strategies and KOL programs and management is a strong requirement. Strong scientific background with solid expertise in Rhythm Management or similar field. Required: Significant experience in the medical device industry with previous experience in developing medical affairs strategy and KOL programs Excellent presentation and communication skills, and collaborative approach Fluency in understanding & interpretation of clinical data Collaborative and collegial approach while thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Must be able to influence in a matrixed environment Maintain long-term big picture view on medical affairs and align with business needs Generate and champion new ideas and approaches Strong customer focus Excellent planning and organizational skills Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Strong integrity Fluent in spoken and written English Preferred (not essential): Experience in developing educational programs and KOL management Previous Track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical field Previous field experience in the Electrophysiology field Clinical trial experience Previous experience in a Matrix organization Additional European Language PhD degree Travel at least 10% Location
