Aeronautics Company Honolulu-HI Job Code/Title: Technician 4 Job Description What You Will Be Doing This position is located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Possible domestic and international travel may be required. Job duties and requirements include but are not limited to: servicing, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul on F-22 aircraft electrical and avionics systems. Utilize engineering drawings and best shop practices to remove and reroute electrical harnesses. Utilize AR dispositions/engineering drawings to repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft electrical/avionics systems and components for routine maintenance as well as in support of modification, upgrades, and overhauls. Obtain and deliver any OJT (On The Job Training) as required/directed to meet contractual requirements. Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule. Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area. Physical Demands: Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements, work overhead & top of aircraft, use hands to grasp, handle and or feel, reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to place/remove aircraft stands around aircraft. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. May be required to pass a physical exam/medical exams. Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications - Must possess a minimum of 3 years electrical/avionics experience on tactical/fighter aircraft. - Able to follow applicable technical direction and read and interpret blueprints/drawings. - Must have been previously awarded an Air Force, Navy, USMC 5 to 9 skill level or equivalent civilian experience with associated credential. Desired Skills - Previous US fighter aircraft experience or similar aircraft electrical/avionics experience. - TCTO, Modification, Upgrade, Overhaul experience. - Experience with disassembly and running new wire harnesses, performing wire splices, fiber optic cleaning/installation, etc. - Working knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, supply chain Management, Time Accounting.
