The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual to join our Abdominal Imaging section. In-person, hybrid, and remote options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions. Clinical responsibilities encompass primary diagnostic and consultative service in Abdominal and Oncologic Imaging (X-ray/Fluoro, CT, MRI, US) for exams performed at multiple locations, but no interventional procedures. Section members typically rotate at our adjacent NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and participate in clinical consultations, tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff. In person, hybrid, and remote positions are available. All applicants welcome, including those seeking J-1 waiver/H-1B sponsorship. Position highlights include: one-time market payment, no evening or overnight shifts, no required weekend call, teach outstanding radiology residents and fellows, protected academic time available for education and scholarly pursuits for faculty, and a 100% clinical staff model also available. Qualifications

Minimum requirements for this position are as follows: MD, DO, or equivalent; able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico; abdominal/body/oncologic imaging fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience; ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date. Preferred qualifications are as follows: a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and learner success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities; desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows.
