Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.In This Role, You Will:Provide leads for potential mortgage borrowers to the Mortgage Loan Officers and contact current customers regarding their mortgage loan product.Responsibilities and Essential Duties:Calls and solicits potential borrowers to apply for mortgage-related products with Mariner Finance (cannot take an application nor discuss rate and terms).Refers all potential buyers who would like to discuss loan rates and terms and all questions regarding loan rates and terms to the Licensed Loan Officer in the state where the property is located.Delivers a prepared sales script over the phone that describes mortgage-related products to the potential borrower and adjusts it to better target the needs and interests of specific borrower types.Calls Loan by Mail (LBMs) borrowers to solicit additional loan products.Abides by all company policies and procedures, including the "Mandatory Rules for Marketing Assistants and Unlicensed Employees, including Loan Officers not Licensed in a Certain State."Assists the Central Auto department by taking GoldTrak applications and submitting them to underwriting for processing.Records names, addresses, information, and feedback of potential borrowers contacted.Assists branch network with solicitations of other company loan products and verification of contracts.Stays up to date on products offered and discuss available options with current and potential customers. Responds resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.One (1) year of sales experience.Knowledge of the mortgage industry or a strong desire to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to learn quickly.Possess a great telephone voice and excellent communication skills.Possess flexibility during periods of rapid growth.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
