Executive Leader / Vice President - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
GE Aerospace is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Executive Leader / Vice President - Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role will define and execute the AI and data science strategy for commercial engine services, driving innovation and operational excellence. The Executive Leader/VP - AI will lead a high-performing team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the successful deployment of AI solutions to optimize service operations, reduce downtime, and enhance profitability. Key responsibilities include: Strategic leadership in leveraging AI and data science to drive business outcomes. Building and leading a high-performing data science team. Designing and deploying machine learning algorithms to optimize service operations. Partnering with various teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows. Staying abreast of emerging trends in AI and data science. Acting as a practitioner and coach of FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary Lean Operating System. Core leadership skills include: Strategic leadership in AI and data science. Business acumen and aviation industry knowledge. Team building and cross-functional collaboration. Change management and innovation. Functional/technical expertise includes: Advanced technical expertise in AI and machine learning. Understanding of engine services business operations. Understanding of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations. Qualifications include: Proven experience in AI, machine learning, and data science methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace industry operations. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Ability to represent GE Aerospace at industry events and conferences. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of AI applications in aerospace and a passion for driving technological advancements to achieve measurable business outcomes.
