Senior Maintenance Electrician Technician

Raytheon Intelligence and Space seeks a Senior Maintenance Electrician Technician to support the installation, modification, operation, and repair of Large Earth Terminal Maintenance systems. A Licensed Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, control systems, motors, generators, transformers, switch panels, etc. The systems are mechanical, electrical, and RF based. What You Will Do: Performs electrical and related work involved in the maintenance of industrial

building

installation, repair, and modification of electrical, electronic systems and equipment. Excluding electronic test equipment. Determines routing, location, and method of installing wire, conduits, electrical equipment, fixtures, and accessories. Determines advisability or need for repair or replacement and best and safest method of restoring interrupted service. Computes wire gage, power, and load limit requirements when required. Must be familiar with electrical code and safe working practices. Must have the ability to work from schematics, blueprints, verbal, and written instructions. Experienced in the repair, modification, and maintenance of high voltage switch gear and associated equipment. Does repair and installation work such as splicing, tapping, and insulating wires and cables. Work in an open environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers is ordinary. The position schedule supports a non-traditional work week comprised of 12-hour shifts with a day night rotation for 24/7 coverage. Performs other duties and required. Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. State of Colorado Journeyman Electrician License and completed OSHA 500 training. Experience with electrical maintenance, shop theory, practice, procedure, and ordinances. Experience working as an industrial

building and/or installation electrician. Qualifications We Prefer: Master Electrician certification. Experience working in a government installation. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Location Information: This position is for an onsite role in Aurora, CO. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
