Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine & Pain Institute is a comprehensive Neuroscience Institute and is looking for a Neurohospitalist for inpatient Neurology Coverage at our Mercy Hospital location in Coon Rapids, MN. Our quaternary hospital Abbott Northwestern Hospital is ranked in the Top 50 hospitals in the United States for Neurology/Neurosurgery by US News and World Report. Key Position Details: Schedule: One 7-day week of inpatient coverage every fourth week. You would have the opportunity to pick up additional Neurohospitalist shifts at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and United Hospital, as available and desired. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities. Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management. Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows. May participate in peer review and quality assurance. Job Requirements: MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable Physical Demands: Medium Work*: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range: Pay Range: $358,260 to $390,500 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
