Program Supervisor
The Program Supervisor reports to the Program Manager and is located at 1117 Eastern Parkway Brooklyn, NY 11213. The Program Supervisor is responsible for: Communicating effectively with clients, direct reporting staff, peers, supervisors, and funders regarding best program practices. Having input into and understanding of, Case Management aspects of contract requirements and communicating this understanding to staff. Ensuring that all client files and electronic files are kept in compliance with funder's standards and implementing CAMBA internal Quality Assurance protocol. Analyzing case management program and demographic data to make programmatic improvements. Maintaining all trackers, monitoring scheduling/staff calendars. Reviewing and ensuring appropriate action is taken in response to program emails. Supervising, coaching, motivating, and counseling direct reporting staff to excel. Planning and organizing program activities to maximize program contract's goals and performance targets. Improving teamwork among direct reporting staff as well as among peers. Troubleshooting and making decisions within the boundaries of authority level, in accordance with program policies, procedures, and protocols. Working with direct reporting staff to improve work performance through client feedback, training, and other appropriate mechanisms. Overcoming resistance to change from clients, direct reporting staff, and supervisors/funders. Administering constructive discipline to direct reporting staff, as needed. Assisting in recruiting of program eligible clients. Conferring with CAMBA's Management staff as needed regarding programmatic and personnel issues. Managing own time effectively and coordinating program activities to maximize time of direct reporting staff. Monitoring and reviewing clients' progress weekly by conducting case conferences with staff. Reviewing all documentation related to clients' progress for accuracy, completeness, and clarity. Participating in administrative and staff meetings as requested. Providing all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/semester/annual reports to CAMBA management and/or to funders. Preparing marketing materials for the program. Reaching out and marketing the program to the community in order to recruit clients. Prescreening clients over the telephone for eligibility and may schedule intake appointments. May have direct client service/program responsibilities in addition to the above. Minimum Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (e. g., B.A., B.S.W.) and at least 1 year of supervisory experience and/or equivalent experience. Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 annually. When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
