TAY Workforce Program Coordinator
for the Futures First initiative. About Futures First
Futures First is a transformative program supporting
Transitional Age Youth (TAY)
ages 16–28 navigating homelessness, justice involvement, foster care, behavioral health challenges, and other systemic barriers. We walk with youth from crisis to stability, and into economic independence. What You'll Do:
· Support day-to-day coordination of job readiness and employment services · Conduct intakes, assist with workforce assessments, and support goal-setting · Facilitate workshops on job skills, resume building, and financial literacy · Coordinate referrals and schedule interviews, internships, and training programs · Maintain accurate, timely documentation for Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and funder compliance What We're Looking For:
· 2+ years of experience working with TAY or in workforce development programs · Strong interpersonal, documentation, and coordination skills · Experience in trauma-informed care and employment readiness preferred · Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Workforce Development, or related field preferred; lived experience valued · Bilingual (Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog) is a plus Success in This Role Means:
· Youth engage with and complete job readiness programming · Job placements and career outcomes are achieved · Referrals and case management are timely and effective · Documentation is complete, timely, and meets all standards · Team and community partnerships are strengthened Why APF?
