Finance, Director - T&D

will serve as a key member of the Hubbell Finance leadership team, responsible for accurate, timely, and transparent financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure (T&D) Strategic Business Unit. This position will have dotted line reports within each of the T&D business units to lead the FP&A function for the SBU.

This high-profile role will also provide strategic and tactical leadership to the financial planning and analysis activities of T&D, implement planning and budgeting processes, help T&D management evaluate financial resource allocation, identify areas for improvement, and assess external factors affecting the business's financial results.

A Day In The Life

Lead FP&A responsibilities for the SBU

Oversee the development of budgets, forecasts, and supporting analysis for the applicable business units with authority to submit forecasts

Monitor financial performance by analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing variances

Prepare monthly MAP presentations for corporate on segment performance

Collaborate with BU finance leads of T&D and related personnel to drive forecast accuracy and accountability

Evaluate restructuring efforts to optimize manufacturing footprint and reduce fixed costs

Develop and manage the financial reporting package, anticipating large impacts to financials

Analyze complex financial reports to provide accurate recommendations for decision making

Implement business intelligence tools and dashboard reports

Develop executive-level presentations on business results, performance analysis, financial models, forecasts, and budgets

Assess strategic initiatives, including M&A transactions and capital allocation strategies

Perform due diligence on acquisition targets

Develop and maintain comprehensive FP&A processes for clarity and consistency

Skills and Experience

Senior finance professional with 10+ years of leadership experience

Experience with U.S. multinational public companies, ideally with $1B+ revenue in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred

Experience with SAP, One Stream, or HFM strongly preferred

Proven leadership in managing and developing finance teams

Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to lead large initiatives and collaborate across levels

Experience interfacing with professionals from manufacturing to senior management

Adaptability to rapid organizational changes in a high-growth environment

Commitment to Functional Excellence in FP&A

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

Master's Degree in Business preferred
