About The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead our most foundational infrastructure teams — the technical backbone that powers everything we build. This is a critical leadership role for someone who can guide a growing team through high complexity, scale, and change — and who thrives at the intersection of platform depth and business impact.
What You’ll Bring
Engineering Management Experience
Experience managing manager-of-managers. Proven ability to inspire, hire, coach, and retain senior engineering talent. Skilled at scaling teams during periods of rapid growth and ambiguity.
Technical Track Record
Deep experience in cloud infrastructure at scale Expertise in modern infrastructure architecture — microservices, event-driven systems, container orchestration, and observability best practices. Familiarity with GCP is a plus, but not required. Clear point of view on on-call processes, escalation hygiene, and balancing reliability with developer velocity.
Leadership
Operates well in ambiguous, fast-changing environments Strong instincts around balancing long-term platform investments with short-term product demands. Partners effectively with product, research, security, and GTM to align infrastructure priorities with business goals. Known for clear thinking, strong execution, and building alignment through trust and communication.
