Associate Director, Development Budget and Compliance

in the

Development Department

of the ACLU’s National office in

New York, NY . This is a

hybrid role

with in-office requirements of two (2) days per week or eight (8) days per month.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Reporting to the

Deputy Director, Nationwide Development Resources, Budget, and Compliance , the

Associate Director, Development Budget and Compliance

will manage budgeting and compliance planning, leveraging Excel and data systems to produce reports that align revenue projections with fundraising strategies and budgets. The role also involves understanding data and privacy policies and their impact on Development programs. YOUR DAY-TO-DAYBudget

Develop and maintain revenue and expense reports at various organizational levels. Help calculate cost factor projections for different revenue streams. Collaborate with Finance to reconcile fundraising reports with operating budgets. Track restricted gifts and revenue sharing. Compliance

Manage procurement requests, ensuring transparency. Serve as the point of contact for privacy and data governance issues. Identify and mitigate policy impacts on the department’s work. Manage stakeholder meetings and reporting. WHAT YOU'LL BRING
