This position requires an experienced project manager with a successful track record in winning and delivering projects. Part-time schedules may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Manage a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on water and wastewater projects. Contribute to strategic planning, growth, project delivery, staffing, and financial performance. Apply Merrick's policies and procedures on assignments. Work closely with clients to define and deliver scope of work. Prepare and oversee fee proposals for water and wastewater design work. Lead design teams, perform planning and design tasks, review designs, and manage project delivery. Exercise initiative and judgment appropriate to the role. Maintain strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with clients and community members. Some travel may be required. The Successful Candidate shall:
Have experience and knowledge in water treatment, conveyance, wastewater treatment, and infrastructure, with familiarity with regulations and some construction observation experience. Proven success in business development, project management, and managing schedules and budgets for complex civil engineering projects. Strong communication skills. Possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and be insurable. Be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school. PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months. Significant experience in infrastructure engineering and project management. Strong technical design skills in water and wastewater projects. Proven project delivery success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver’s license and insurability. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
