Job Description The Product Manager will identify new opportunities and translate user needs into product concepts and ranges. This role involves collaboration with engineering/R&D, marketing, sales, and suppliers, focusing on hardware products. Responsibilities include product development, lifecycle management, profit/loss analysis, marketing plans, sales forecasting, and pipeline development.
Your Job Responsibilities Will Include
Analyzing North American HVAC market trends and potentials.
Gathering and synthesizing product requirements based on customer and market insights.
Collaborating across functions to develop product definitions responsive to market needs.
Working with development teams to ensure hardware products meet specifications.
Providing market summaries and regulatory updates.
Participating in new product development and coordinating market requirements, pricing, and training.
Conducting competitive analysis to identify unique selling points.
Leading product innovation initiatives.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or related field with 2+ years in product management or development.
Experience leading cross-functional projects.
Experience in market trend analysis and forecasting.
Skills in customer insights and technical requirements synthesis.
Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC or consumer goods industry experience.
Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
UX/UI design experience.
Proven product road mapping and strategy execution skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Project management skills are a plus.
Trend analysis proficiency.
Work Environment
Applicants should live near Watertown, MA.
Extensive use of computers and phones.
Travel
Some domestic and international travel may be required.
