Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Weekends: Every Other Weekend (Minimum 6 full weekends - both Saturday & Sunday - during contract) Start Date: [To be determined] Float Requirement: Travelers must be willing to float to all campuses as needed Scheduling: Individualized (blocking not guaranteed); holidays as required First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
CVVHD/CRRT experience
Strong experience in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Experience with multi-system organ failure and post-cardiac surgery patients
Preferred Experience: SICU experience
ECMO, Impella, IABP, and TAVR/TAVI
Pre- and post-cardiac cath care
Sheath removal, arterial line management
Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Line monitoring
Chronic and acute renal failure
IV insulin protocols
Ventilator and airway management including BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), suctioning, and ABG interpretation
Post-op cardiac surgery (directly from OR and not from OR)
Care for complex cardiac ICU patients:
MI, CHF, sepsis, post-cardiac cath
LVAD, IABP, Impella, CRRT
AAA repair, vascular surgeries, ECMO
Use of Arctic Sun for targeted temperature management
Equipment & Procedures Exposure: CVVHA / CRRT
Central/PICC line care and IV starts
Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
Chest tube insertion/removal assistance
Blood product administration
Ventilator management
Interpretation of ABGs
ECMO / IABP / Impella / LVAD
