Location:

180 Grace Blvd, Morgantown, PA 19543 (In-person)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work

and travel may be required.

Position Summary:

The Operations and Supply Chain Manager is a high-performing, experienced professional to lead

and oversee our procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations. This role will

be responsible for managing international purchasing, optimizing inventory strategy and control,

and potentially streamlining key production processes. The ideal candidate has a strategic

mindset, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to building scalable systems that drive

efficiency, cost savings, and growth.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, can

collaborate cross-functionally, and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

Manage global and domestic vendor relationships, contracts, and performance evaluations.

Oversee freight rate negotiations and relationships with international freight and logistics providers.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive value in pricing, quality, and supplier reliability.

Inventory Strategy & Control

Implement and maintain systems for accurate inventory tracking, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment.

Regularly evaluate inventory levels to avoid overstocking and shortages.

Oversee physical inventory audits and cycle counts.

Create and distribute pull packets for production and coordinate labeling systems for product traceability.

Production & Operations Integration

Collaborate with the production team to improve workflow efficiency.

Support process optimization efforts to streamline materials flow, lead times, and vendor response.

Assist with product development from a sourcing and logistics perspective.

Analytics & Reporting

Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.

Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance across procurement, inventory, and logistics.

Lead or support ERP integration and continuous improvement efforts in supply chain systems.

Risk & Compliance

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier shortages or geopolitical disruptions.

Ensure all procurement and inventory practices meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations, ideally in a manufacturing or product-based environment.

Proven experience with international sourcing and supplier negotiations.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (MS Office Suite) and experience with ERP systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience in the office furniture industry.

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.

Working knowledge of systems such as QuickBooks and Salesforce.
