Description Leidos is seeking a skilled Lead Network Engineer to join our team supporting the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this critical mission, you will assist the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in deploying and operating the ABMS Digital Infrastructure. The ABMS initiative is a key modernization effort for the DAF, forming the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management across all services in the Department of Defense. This effort, known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), enables U.S. forces and allies to leverage data and information swiftly, outpacing adversaries. This position is based in our Orlando, FL office with a hybrid work schedule. Primary Responsibilities Deliver engaging lecture-based and hands-on technical training in a classroom environment on relevant ABMS DI-Network system subjects. Implement network system upgrades at various field locations, both CONUS and OCONUS as necessary. Oversee SD-WAN architecture, including operations and security updates. Manage Secure Vector Routing tables, focusing on traffic prioritization and routing requirements. Provide mentorship to team members on network architecture and configuration nuances. Generate management updates pertaining to the Digital Infrastructure Network. Basic Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen with a minimum of a Top Secret clearance. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience coupled with 12+ years of related experience. Active or prior experience as a trainer in system networks and technical topics. Strong knowledge of network engineering, architecture, and automation. Experience in configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems. Proficient in the following areas: Python script development. Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana. Linux systems administration. Windows systems administration. Proven ability to influence the development of solutions impacting strategic projects/program goals. Experience managing technical teams on IPTs and/or cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on team building and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with ABMS, JADC2 initiatives, or other U.S. Air Force programs. Knowledge and experience in SD-WAN technologies. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Software engineering experience, including creation and documentation of test cases/results for software products in an agile environment. Familiarity with commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps tools. Pay Range: Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00 The Leidos pay range for this role is a guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation.
